HangZen Surf School of Encinitas, San Diego gives everyone from first-time surfers and newcomers to the sport to more advanced and experienced riders the chance to learn the sport from a professional surf instructor on some of the best waves and most beautiful beaches in the world - North County, San Diego.

We offer a full range of lessons for surfers of all ages and skill levels. Morning and afternoon surf camps are available all summer long. Ask us about gift certificates for that special surfer in your life.

Private Lessons

One-on-one, personalized attention between student and instructor
$110 for a two-hour lesson

Semi-Private Lessons

Two students with one instructor
$90 per person for a two-hour lesson

Group Surfing Lessons

Three or more students per instructor
$75 per person for a two-hour lesson

1/2 Day and Full Day Camps

Offered all summer long, seven days a week
Morning and afternoon sessions are available
One instructor for every three students
Snacks and refreshments are included
All equipment is included, including soft surfboard, wet suit, towel and sun screen

$300/week for 1/2 day camps
$500/week for Full day camps
